What Valentine's Day Is Really About!

Wow what a Valentine's day it has been! Being single or recently separated (like myself) can make Valentine's a lonely experience - but not anymore! There is so much Love we can feel and show to ourselves, our friends and strangers, to our beautiful Earth and fall in love with the gift of life itself! It's no longer a day just for the couples - it is a day for the celebration of Love in it's many wonderful forms! :) ...

I surely had the best Valentine's day ever! So much magic has happened! I received an anonymous poem from 'Saint Valentine' :) , was given cute gifts from another traveller staying at the same guesthouse I am. I hitch-hiked up the mountain and was offered a ride by the sweetest traveller and we had so much fun hiking the snowy paths, laughing away and playing snowball fights. I was treated to a yummy dinner and spent the evening with my new Shasta friends at a local concert dedicated to Love, singing along and listening to the stories of Love...

I shared Love, I felt Love and I received Love in many beautiful blessings!

When we open our hearts to the entire world, and not just to one special person - suddenly, the experience of Love becomes so much richer, deeper and offers so many gifts :) Perhaps, that's what real Love is all about :)
