I wrote the below piece in my diary in June 2015, a few days after I had the long-awaited laser operation on my eyes. This was a truly magical and life-changing moment for me – a long-time dream coming true as a result of miraculous events and synchronicities that had unfolded last year…

Re-posting this mini blog from last February as I find it very timely for this time of the year when the weather and shorter days make us spend more time indoors. I am also fascinated that last February I chose this particular picture for the post with a cat. Guess what? 7 months on, I met a stray cat just like the one on the picture!! She is now my beloved pet and loves spending time by the rainy window... Nothing is ever simply by chance :) xxx

"In my last days of travels, I decided to take 4 days of quiet down time. A break from my rather active way of spending time here, as I was being busy preparing for my return to London. As I made this decision - 4 days of stormy weather arrived to Shasta, fully supporting my Me time. No chance to come out and engage with the town life... What an amazing divine timing! 

Today was a beautiful crispy autumn day and I went for a walk - beauty-hunting :) I remembered there was a big park not far from my parent’s house, on the other side of the shipping canal, across the wooden bridge. I was curious to see if the trees have already changed their green summer dresses to the dashing outfits of the autumn. I am in anticipation of the golden, yellow, red and brown carnival! Armed with a phone camera I ventured out into the nearby park. ​

Wow! I just got back from my Mystery Hunt :) to the Portuguese town Sintra! I was called there by many signs and messages and jumped right into it... Oh my was it worth it!!

I still can't believe - all the magic, synchronicities and messages I experienced over the 4 days were REAL. Had to pinch myself many times ;) I felt like no less but a character of a Dan Brown's book of a Da Vinci Code series ;))

Just shows how much magic happens when we answer a calling and go visit places that call us! I have definitely come back incredibly inspired, much stronger, deeply centred, very connected and with a 'bag full of answers' :)

Having visited Sintra the 2nd time and seen it now through the awakened eyes, I can definitely say it is a truly special power place with much mystical and spiritual 'activity' hidden from the eyes of a tourist.

Wow what a Valentine's day it has been! Being single or recently separated (like myself) can make Valentine's a lonely experience - but not anymore! There is so much Love we can feel and show to ourselves, our friends and strangers, to our beautiful Earth and fall in love with the gift of life itself! It's no longer a day just for the couples - it is a day for the celebration of Love in it's many wonderful forms! :) ...

Today was officially my first day of 3 months on my own!

Vaz left Shasta last night going back to London to reunite with the soul family and bring back new beautiful work. I was left in the house alone. Even though I absolutely craved me time, I have been dreading the ‘moment of truth’ worrying I’d soon feel lonely, restless and bored in this small quiet town. An image of me gaining 20kg and barely fitting through the door way by the end of my stay here, from ‘curing’ my loneliness with sweets and cakes, crossed my mind quite a few times...

This morning I woke up in Paradise.

Still not quite believing where I was and how quick everything happened, I looked outside the window and saw a banana tree and a round bush full of tropical flowers. The air was humid and somewhat heavy, with shy rays of morning sun gliding through the misty clouds of the last night's rain.

I'm in Hawaii, on one of the most beautiful, idillic islands with a melodic name - Maui...

I have been having a couple of challenging days. Having come down with a cold I have been feeling low and rather miserable. Who likes being ill on a holiday? When there is so much around to enjoy in California but all you can think of is tissues, sleep and a warm hug. And all the uncertainty about the next steps to take going forward on my journey added another pinch of salt to my experience.

To cheer myself up..

Hello Beautifuls!
It's been a while since I posted. I have been on quite a journey from late August - first facilitating deeply transformational retreat in Mt Shasta, California for a beautiful group of 37 people and then travelling on down the West Coast. Currently in Santa Barbara, recharging and planning my next steps.

Today was a day of great SURRENDER! In capital letters and with an exclamation mark!...

This morning at an outdoor Tai Chi & Qi Gong class I witnessed my first Shasta Lenticular Cloud!

They are very common formations that occur only just above or near the mountain and thought to be spaceships or expressions of the divine energy.

This one was a lonely cute one.

Waking up to the rich aroma of the pine trees. Filling up my bottle in the crystal clear glacier springs. Being led by the mountain to wondrous places and people. These have been my blessings for the past few days in Shasta, while I took some time off writing.

I see the mountain now as a Mystical Being - a Wise Woman, a Mother, a High Priestess, dressed in a dark green dress. A dress a forest creature would wear. Wild flowers twined into her hair. Nurturing and very direct. She will not wait around to tell you the bold truth you need to know or have forgotten.

Dandelion leaves are yucky in a sandwich but awesome when sautéed with butter as a side dish.

You can get dizzy by lying down and watching treetops move above you in the wind.

I couldn't resist but write this small note for you all! I was in a local park taking some close up pics of Shasta in the evening light (the Headwaters park doesnt have the view because of the dense and tall forest). And in this park people hang out playing sports and having barbecues.

It being dinner time and me passing by the barbecue grills I was thinking about how yummy their burgers must be. I've been vegetarian for almost a year now, and sometimes a memory of a good old meat burger crosses my mind.

After two days in Shasta I realised I was being a typical Londoner - time-efficient, eager to use my day to the full, packing it with things to do and places to see.

Letting go of this productivity craze, I now allowed myself to slow down and savour simple pleasures of slow living. Hence there was no timely update from me on day 3 in Shasta 

It's been so much more rewarding to come back to the state of just Being. Allowing Shasta to introduce me to her special places, events and people in her own time and in my own time.

Yesterday was only my 2nd day in Mt Shasta and so much magic happened already!

I was by the sacred Headwaters, the glacier spring waters coming right out of the mountain, a birthing place of Sacramento river. This is a very special healing place where natives, locals and tourists come everyday to pray to the water, sing and play music, and collect pure waters for drinking. A very joyful and tranquil place. You can almost tangibly feel the electrifying energy here.

After several weeks of rushing around, packing, arranging, worrying, anticipating and the incredibly tiring 24 hour journey from London to California - I am now in the sanctuary of the majestic Mt Shasta. 

It is now 9 am in the morning. I'm sitting on the sun deck of an absolutely charming cottage I'm staying at - with Mt Shasta right in front of me.
